Safety
Every ride on the BubbaSeat platform meets the highest Australian safety standards. There are no compromises and no shortcuts when it comes to your child's wellbeing.
Every driver on the BubbaSeat platform holds a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) issued by the relevant Australian state authority. This certification is verified before a driver's first ride and must remain current at all times. Any lapse in WWCC status results in immediate suspension from the platform. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
All child car seats used on the BubbaSeat platform comply with Australian Standard AS/NZS 1754, the mandatory safety standard for child restraints in Australia. We provide the correct seat type matched to each child's age group:
Every driver on the platform is required to maintain comprehensive motor vehicle insurance that covers all passengers, including children. Drivers must disclose ride-share usage to their insurance provider. BubbaSeat verifies insurance documentation during the driver application process and requires updated certificates at regular intervals.
BubbaSeat operates a 24/7 support channel for any concerns during a ride. In the event of an incident, our team responds immediately to coordinate with the driver and ensure the safety of all passengers. We take every safety concern seriously and investigate all reports thoroughly.
